Epic Gasser stance! Never seen that shape Victor before! My gf would love it as it looks a bit like a Bel Air hehe

That looks really well two-doored. As a car its done well on two accounts. Being an F type that has survived and being a Custom that's survived

That looks like it's held up pretty well. I remember having a poster of it on my bedroom wall in the eighties. That and a very similar red one. (and a black and flamed hi-riding estate from quite a few years earlier) One of my fave cars of the time. God was it that long ago now?

My brother had one of those shape Victors. Loved the wrap around windscreen.

I remember seeing it at Bruntingthorpe, 1988 I think it was, one of my all time favorites! If only I had the time, money, space

Being an F type that has survived and being a Custom that's survived I seem to remember Street Machine commenting on how it was rare to have an F type survive at the time it was featured in the 80s. I think it was this car that made me decide I didn't much like the gasser look. Two door conversion does work well though.

Just wondering if anyone knows which 1980's Street Machine magazine has the article on the Vauxhall Victor 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' ?

I can't see the pics on the link above but I seem to recall a grey (with some ZZ Top esque stripes IIRC ) gasser/hi riser Victor featured in custom Car , not Street Machine as I too had the poster on my bedroom wall as a teenager .
