After a manic few weeks packing up and moving house we'd forgotten that we'd ordered tickets for Camperjam at Weston Park until they dropped on the mat mid packing. So last weekend we bundle the usual camping tat in the van and left the new house in a convoy with some mates. Slight side track here, but after 8yrs in the last place walking 75yds from the house to the garage to get all the stuff we take, then another 50yds to the Camper takes ages to load up, this time it took 5 minutes to load and unload on the drive ;D
Anyway, with a longish drive ahead and a bad crash on the M40 we took the scenic route over the Birdlip and up the M5
Rolling into Weston Park late afternoon we set up camp for the next three days with three fellow camper families and our non VW mates.
Unlike some shows, the traders are open from lunchtime friday for the weekend and most don't close up till 10pm, so we ate and wandered round.
Slumping in chairs by the camp we drank till late and talked twaddle as usual ready for day two. ;D
