rerouting water bottle to the boot - possible?

main quibble being will the pump have it in it to pump the water the whole length of the car? cant really fit it in the interior and the brackets all mangled and beat up so ideally i wanna put it in the bootism


any ideas?

use a headlight washer pump off a landrover discovery its a high presure pump plus its got a non return valve so the waters always there hope that helps andy

do you mean washer bottle or header tank for the cooling system?

I have run both, header tank and washer bottle at the rear. The engine did not overheat and the windscreen washers worked.

The majority of cars (Mark 1 and 2 Fiestas excepted) have the rear washer run off the bottle at the front so can't see any problem running it the other way round.

make sure you use a one way valve otherwise it'll take a while to squirt.
