I have a set of Slotmags for the Bond. I'm upgrading the studs to fatter, longer MGF wheel studs which take an M12x1.5 (if I recall) nut. I've been for a forage around the scrappy and picked up some nuts with a taper seat and the right thread... However, when I came to look at the Slotmags, the holes are like this... (apologies for the myopic phone cam... it doesn't like close-ups) Not a 60 degree seat as I thought, and not a regular spherical seat. That's if that dished part is a seat at all, and not just decorative. Please help lift the veil of confusion!

Ah, that would make sense... thanks Seth. At least I haven't completely wasted my time picking through endless wheelnuts getting a full set together! ;D

Yep, taper washers and sleeve nuts for those. If they are Wolfrace they'll be either 11/16" or 41/62" diameter shank. I think the latter may be perculiar to Wolfrace.
I've also bought nuts from an ebay seller in the states before called lugking2005. They usually work out around £25 a set from him so pretty cheap and the quality seems decent.

Oh no! I need sleeve nuts aswell? Bummer. Looks like I wasted my time after all. Never mind, the wheelnuts will no doubt come in handy for something else. Two of the wheels are Cosmic Supaslots (one pictured) and the other two are Alleycats, but both look to have the same seat and the same diameter holes.

Ah, not sure what diameter sleeve nuts they'll be on Cosmics and Alleycats. I might have some that'll fit if you can find out the diameter and length of the sleeve. I've got a big box of them and there's almost certainly some M12x1.5 in there. I definately have some taper washers spare.

Thanks for that RatDat! Just been out to measure the holes. Cosmics: 5/8in diameter, 1/2in deep Alleycats: 11/16in diameter, 11/16in deep Thread is M12x1.5 If you have anything suitable, let me know how much you want etc.

I'll have a rummage tomorrow and see what I can find. The Cosmic ones might be tricky as they are quite short and an odd diameter but if all else fails it's not hard to shorten the nuts and the holes in the wheel couldbe taken out to 11/16".

I got mine from Mr T's as well. They cost 23 odd quid, but you can't run slotmags without them. Look like this. The sleeve on the nuts acts as a locator. Without them you'll find you've got some pretty wobbly wheels. I think it's got something to do with the softness of the wheels - that and classic over-engineering. Just contact him with the thread size, diameter of the hole, and the length of shaft you need to go in the wheel.

No can do on the nuts I'm afraid. All the M12x1.5 I have are a really long shank. I do have some washers but they are the type that uses a sleeve nut with a taper. I think they are 41/64" though.

No problem RatDat, I appreciate you having a look for me. I'll get in touch with Mr T, from what I've seen on his website he should have both types, and the washers.
