For sale is my mini shorty project, this has been shortened by approx 22 inch but retains a roof a opening doors which will make it a very unique shorty. The mini has had a full new front end and a rear panel, and the shell has been fully de-seamed, the 2 doors have been shortened, and open a close as they should. The rear shock towers have been re radiussed for coil overs, and all the body has been filled a primed and the shell is rolling having a disc brake front subframe fitted and a rear beam with coilovers, but could do with a new pair of coilovers. It also has a front a rear screen a boot lid a steering rack and a full steel dash out of a mgb with the clocks which will need modifying to fit but would look really nice fitted. I am looking for £995 ono for this, for any more info give me a call on 07847 967817 selling due to finding a car I have been looking for for a while. Pics to follow over the weekend
Thanks Bryan

Beautifully executed. When you hear 'Mini shorty' you're inclined to have a roofless car spring to mind.
I hope it sells, and I hope it sees completion.
Good luck with the sale.

That looks frikin' sweet would love to zip around town in it, would be purrrrfect! Alas am I right in saying getting it on the road with todays SVA/IVA requirements would be next to impossible?

Alas am I right in saying getting it on the road with todays SVA/IVA requirements would be next to impossible? Impossible? No! Cutting the monocoque does mean that it now requires IVA, but IIRC aceadvice posted up a case where a guy had gone all over his Mini making sure things complied with the IVA and it passed. Stuff like pipelagging around the edges of the dash, grommets around the ends of switches kinda thing. Time consuming and a little costly, yes. Impossible, no.

Good times I guess, being a Mini all the glass is available to IVA standards too I hope this finds someone with the time & funds to get it on the road - it certainly deserved it!
