Love the spot welds, would do wonders for the stiffness.
Isn't a bit cold for spraying?

Woo, You have an Elf!? They are my dream car, man! How about fitting G10 turbo engine into it? I can get you a turbo kit as I'm making one...lol.
Just send me to my work address and I will get it turn into CAd and laser cut in materials you want.
Cheers Atchi

Building roof chopped, screen raked '68 Mini with G13B 1.3 16v Gti engine with LSD, Yamaha R1 carbs. As well as mk1 Suzuki Swift Gti AWD with a turbo. Drives PHEV Outlander but wishing my mk1 Swift Gti or mk2 CRX Vt were still with me!

Cool thanks mate, I will be needing some flanges for making decat pipe and also maybe a couple more cg13 exhaust manifold flanges. I will email you when I know for sure what I want I got the elf when my grandad died a couple years ago. I wanted it for 10years and it used to be in amazing condition, now its very rotten and iam not sure what to do with it. I have a donor shell for some panels. Also have a pipebender that can bend upto 42mm tube. So iam tempted to do a roof chop like yours and then put a space frame chassis underneath. I would use an engine that I can get easily for little money, something like the cg13de that I have in the micra. Its extremely tempting to try and adapt a s13 200sx gearbox onto a cg13de and make it rwd lol

Fitted the 5speed this lunch time Got new braided earth straps Started to tuck loom along its new route. This is the hole where the aerial cable come through, I made it bigger lol the wires that you can see need to be fed back through the grommet This plug goes to wiper motor but needs to be on other ssside of the grommet and fed through original hole This is the coil and starter wiring, this also needs to be on the other side of the grommet Back into bay behind headlight. Some wires will need extending Loom fits nicely into slam panel And needs p-clipping upto the chassis rail. All this will be above the arch liner and about 3-4inches away from the tyre This last bit of loom is for the battery, this will hide inside a battery box with the battery

I have got lots of bits and bobs finished, most stuff isn't worth photographing. I haven't had much time too work on it because my first drift competition day is on Sunday 13th so I have been spending sometime working on my sil80 driftcar.
I keep forgetting to keep this thread updated. Sorry about that!! Although not a great deal of peeps appear to be interested in it anyways!

Hi thanks for the comments and tips Here's another quick update! It sound bloody badass! Rude as fook! But too loud Almost too loud to film you may want to lower your volume first of all. They are golf mk2 coilies but polo 6n2 fit better and corsa fit even better again

Are they basicly a direct replacement then for the standard coilovers? I'm more than likely getting a micra soon and thats the only thing I'm going to do is lower it Nick
