Model: Mitsubishi Delica Super Exceed Year: 1993 Mileage: 125,000 Kilometres Tax: Jan 2011 MOT: July 2011 Location: Derby Price: 1850 Additional Information: Forsale is my Delica Super Exceed12 MONTHS MOT and 6 MONTHS TAXIts the 7 seater model - the best one - with the swivelling captains chairs, giving many options of travel! It has the crystal-lite glass roof and all the electric blinds work. * Strong 2.5 Turbo Diesel * Fully working 4wd system * Excellent tyres * No rust, though there is a scratch on 1 side that has been touched in... * In very good condition, everything works bar the air-con, but thats cause the belt snapped... * Just had a new set of curtains made, so ready to sleep in... I really don't want to sell this, I love it, nothing beats driving this beast through the lanes, being able to peer effortlessly over the hedges at the views. Unfortunatly i'm in one of them situations where she's gotta go This has the winter pack, which gives you a rear lsd and dual batteries. Apparently (according to the god that is Bruce) this year should have an uprated turbo and better starting system... Err, I think thats it, i'll open the floor to any questions Brand new curtains My good friend machine polishing her, a job he prob wished he'd not started as it took him the best part of a day!

Hi, Apologies for this being my first post on the board. I've been lurking for a while.. I was wondering what these are like as a drive with regards to noise and vibration? The only diesel of this vintage I've driven was an old Fourtrak and it felt very agricultural. Been toying with the idea of a Deli but have only driven the 400 which was quite refined despite its appearance.

Nothing like a FourTrak at all mate!
Inside is so plush and comfy you'll soon forget your driving a Diesel!
The only diff with the L400 is the slightly smaller engine and the forward control, so its a little less like driving a normal car! I'd happily drive this from one end of the country to the other and get out feeling as fresh as when i got in!
Come and have a drive, you'll be taking her home with you, i can guarentee it...

Sounds tempting.. Whats the issue with the aircon? Is this a difficult repair? Also, whats space like for the driver? I might let my dad loose in it and hes quite a big bloke. Any bellyrub issues..? ;D

The belts snapped! The bloke i had it off replaced them all, but failed to tension the aircon belt properly. Its completly untested on my part, but he did regail me with stories of sitting in the back, engine running, in the summer, drinking beer in the coolness...
Hopefully, just a case of sticking a new belt on, but like i said, i've never used it, so i honestly couldn't say it don't need a re-gas or something...
Driving space is huge, the bloke i got it off was a 'jolly' fella and he had no troubles...

I'm 6'5" and driving my deli is no problem I've also never been bothered about AC in my deli's and if it is just the belt then its a cheap fix: www.milneroffroad.com/categories.asp?cID=11296 (£4!) This does look a very nice example!
