Right, much as I like this car, I have to face up to the fact that I'm probably never going to get round to doing anything with it - especially now that I have my old 900 T16S back for when I fancy driving something fast.
It's a 2-wheel-drive 21 Turbo, and is fairly standard - the engine has had some mild tweaks and has been dyno'd at 210bhp, but other than that it's as Renault intended. It's been a reliable car and seems to be in fine mechanical fettle - and it's bloody quick, with loads of torque and very little lag. Bodywise it's mostly good - it has a bit of grot on the lip of the offside rear arch inside the door shut, and a bit on the OSF strut top, but other than that it's all solid. It has the odd minor scratches that any 22-year-old car will have, but nothing major. It has a crack in the windscreen on the passenger side and a chip on the driver's side from stones thrown up at Marham. It has also developed a bit of a blow in the exhaust, which appears to be coming from a hole in the top of the centre box - this is not overly loud but would probably still need patching for an MoT.
It's on its standard alloys, and the front tyres are completely shagged post-Marham, but there are two good 195/55x15s in the boot ready to go on. The wheel centre caps are also in the boot - these were removed for ease of wheel-changing.
The interior is black leather and is in fairly good nick for the age of the car, with no rips in the leather. The electric windows work, the sunroof doesn't. The heater is also rather feeble, and the trip computer needs resetting, but other than that everything works. The ABS light stayed on last time I moved the car, but this is probably because it's been standing about quite a lot recently - it was fine when I was using it on the road.
The car's been completely reliable during my ownership and should be capable of driving anywhere, but from a legal point of view it would probably be better off being towed unless you're local.
I took some pics on my phone, but the phone is being an arse and won't let me download them. I'll take my camera next time I go to the garage and take some more pics, but until then here's a couple that were taken at Marham:
