er no. Wish I had and prob should but at least in photos or when it rains it looks great! Looks good up to about 5 or 6 feet away... Could have been better as you say but for lack of bothering to prepare or take any extra steps on my part...

Blimey, that's a good finish considering! Also, 500 quid for a Mini that solid?! Amazing. Nice Mini!

;Ive just sold my Mini cuz it was a Money pit I do like yours though and love the Dulux paint job ;D We ended up paying a grand for a so called professional paint job in 2k which I wish id of done myself with Coach Enamel and a brush Looks like you've got a solid little Mini there Just a tip from our experiences, learn to weld you will save a fortune by welding yourself I know this goes without saying with any car but Minis tend to need welding constantly Also don't spend big money on them its just not worth it before to long you end up with £5k worth of bills for a car that's only worth £1.5k Stick with your Brush Paint Job and if you get bored brush paint it again ;D As johnnyf said leave it for a month or two let the paint go really hard, flat back and compound a shine in which should get rid of any brush marks ;D Not too sure what you can compound it with as its house paint you might have to paint some on an old panel and practice compounding with various products till you find the right one Just out of interest for the disbelievers how much did the paint job cost if you include brushes tape sandpaper etc etc?? Brush Painting all the way such a cheap method and not as bad as some people think Jodie
