a couple of suggestions try the yellow pages for a local locksmith and see if they can help fit an aftermarket central locking system (dosent help with igition though) contact a nissan dealer to see if they can help (some manufacturers keep records of key numbers and can cut keys from those numbers) are the lock barrels the same as any other nissan models finally and the most brutal take out the lock barrels insert any key which fits in and file off the protruding pins ttfn glenn

I think the locksmith could be a good bet. In xb0ll0ck's tat blog his Mazda had no keys and he took the ignition barrel etc to his locksmith and they managed to make up a set for it. It could be worth taking out one of the door locks and trying the same thing.

Older Nissans often have the key number on a label inside the glovebox. Nissan can cut you a key from this, in fact they may even be able to do it from the VIN#.
Datman on here might be able to do one from number as I believe he has the code books and cutter, providing blanks are available. he may even have some used locks with key.

i was thinking of something along those lines but i didnt think i could be done without some stupid over the top charge.
Key blanks can be had on ebay for £1 odd so no expense there.

They're not cheap from Nissan. About £15 IIRC.
