Oh it's running! I was out on a run on Sunday with the North West Lotus Group (Norlog)! Just need to swap the zorst over (I suspect this one will be LOUD) I also want to fit a boost gauge to keep an eye on it, but I dunno where to put it...

OK a bit of good news / bad news
Good news I got the old exhaust off!
Bad news Boot floor had to come out again
Good news I got the new exhaust in!
Bad news It doesn't fit very well...it doesn't line up with the cat
Good news I found one of my suspicious noises! The old exhaust was hitting the body, few washers around the mount will sort.
Bad news I need to undo the turbo bolts to move the cat pipe to get a better angle on the pipework.
Good news The turbo bolts all move! Well the 2 nylock nuts (On a turbo FFS!) on studs move and I cut the gash rotten M8 nut and bolt off without trying.
Very Bad news Yes they nuts came loose but one promptly snapped off...
Good news The stump moves a little! (With the turbo casting glowing red hot!)
Bad news I still can't shift it more than1/16th of a turn
Pause to reflect
Good news There is enough stump to get a grip of
Bad news My molies are tiny and curse word
Good news I found another suspicious noise! The wastegate flapper valve is loose and rattling!
Bad news Is it supposed to rattle?
Good news Internet says yes it is! Tweaked the WG actuator rod and it holds it shut a tiny bit tighter - no rattle!
Bad news Still no further forward...
Good news Halfords is nearby and sell various WMD including welding gas (In a gold plated bottle by the price!)
Bad news Halfords is nearby and sell various chocolate tools
Good news Halfords sell stilsons... and the stilsons work!
Bad news I slip and punch something. Cut my finger inside a latex glove without breaking the latex - glove slowly filling with blood.
Good news Tis but a scratch! Also found I have 3 new (ish) exhaust studs amongst my spares!
Bad news The hole for the 3rd stud (That had the rotten M8 bolt in) has been drilled and I can't get the tap down it.
Good news I can get to it through the wheel arch with the drill and redrill it with the proper sized drill, I can now get the tap in to clear the thread!
Bad news Aligning the exhaust, the cut off valve (Part of the emissions kit) the cat pipe and the mounts is a PITA!
Good news Got there in the end - all back together, 2 noises dealt with and the exhaust doesn't even seem to be leaking! I used plain nuts and spring washers in various locations instead of nylocks so if it has to come apart agian it shoudl be easier. I also used copperslip, although the grease will burn off the copper will remain so it'll hopefully come apart easier next time!
I even have a boost a bit earlier as the WG isn't leaking as much!
I also touched up a load of the various stonechips and scrapes, just need a chance to cut them back with some compound.
It's much nicer inside now (It was already pretty good!) it's quieter and some of the rattles have now gone!
I've now bought a paint correction kit with a DA polisher adn some heavy duty polish stuff to sort out the swirls, pics to follow.
