Not that again! That seems to turn up every now and again. I don't think the nostalgia scene has come around quite that far yet though! ;D

Ooh, I dunno. I like the 70s style.
One I really got peevedd over was a car called Evergreen. It was a FD Ventora which was fitted oout with a Jag IRS, 2 door'd, FE grill, Viscount headlights, Manta A tail lights, L-88 Hood scoop, tints, small rear spoiler. Full draylon interior with a cocktail bar in the back! Finished in green with green stripes and flake. It was featured about 1978 and won a load of shows. In about 1980 the guy took the motor out (a 2.5 Daimler Hemi IIRC) for a swap and it never got put back in. The car just got dry stored. I saw the car up for sale a couple of years ago for like £250 as a rolling shell, still in flake and draylon etc. just needing a motor fitting. I so wish I'd bought it but I was just getting ready to move house at the time.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Sadly someone has tried to modernise it with digital dash and stuff. Still a decent project. Whats a Rover V8 and box cost these days? Some paint to finish it off, and you're done.
I'll see if I can find a pic of it in its glory. Might be a scan from an old magazine later

Same wierd doors yeah! reminds me of 'The Car' when it was black, all menacing and quite ugly. I cant afford to get involved, especially as i'd have to do my own door stretch door mods to it really.
