Hi all driving down the road in Benalmadena Costa del sol today when this appeared in front of me. It came out of an under ground carpark covered in dust. don't know if it was being scrapped or repaired (I hope) Your not allowed to tow motors here so hence the truck. Anybody know anything about Reg ? B reg I think

The vehicle details for B77 BMA are:
Date of Liability 01 11 2003 Date of First Registration 06 11 1984 Year of Manufacture 1984 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2792CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE
Not taxed for 7 years but then that doesn't mean it hasn't been pottering around the Costa Del Sol with no tax on it!

Aye possibly JC. Such a shame looked like a goodun. Theres a big yard/field up in the mountains behind Benalmadena that the Policia take abandoned or unlicensed brit/ Spanish motors and bikes/scooters. You ought to see this !!!! Loads of good retro stuff. Iv tried to get near it to take photos but the guard sends the dogs out. They all seem destoned to be crushed .

Hi, Thought you might like to know that I got this capri 2 years ago after it being neglected for years. Its been in a garage for the past few months being recommissioned, also changed the color and added a few tasteful mods. Hoping to have it all done by end of this month. There is quite a big following here in Spain and a group of about 7 of us meet up along with 50 other classics every month in the hills north of Malaga.

It would need a current uk mot on it to recommish on to Spainish plates an export from uk ppw Too much hassle for most folk out here I'm afraid when did the law change ? All we do here is hand over the registration document at the ITV ( MOT ) station & tell them it is to change to Spanish plates. They do inspection/ITV & assuming all ok the ficha tecnica ( registration document detailing all & everything that is on the vehicle ) will be ready in the afternoon. Never been asked for an mot/tax on anything , even at Traficoor the hacienda ? All the impounded vehicles/bikes etc; whether Spanish or foreign if not reclimed are sold of by auction. It is possible to bid via internet but it appears to be a long drawn out process that goes on forever.

That is very good news. Capri's and Manta's have a very big following out here. Which means they go for ridiculously big money. There is a 2.0S for sale locally and it has moved around his camp for years. First on wheels, then on axle stands for years and now back on wheels again. We are talking more than 13 years stood! He wants 2000 euros for it. In your dreams!
