Thought I'd put up a few pics of some WWII figurines I've got.
They are Flames Of War 15mm Soviet soldiers that I've painted.
It's part of a game that's basically a complicated version of Risk.
Here are the first ones I bought. Winter longcoats. Love the look of them.
Hard as.
But there aren't many longcoat models available so I decided to mix them with normal versions and 'hardened veterans'. It's more realistic anyway, what with equipment shortages.
Couple of tanks.
IIRC it says "For the Motherland" and "Onwards to Berlin"
And here is practically the entire army. A few dozen hours or painting!
"Keep moving Komarades!"
Notice the guy drinking in the background.
"For Stalin!"
Kommissar and his 'aide'
"Anyone who runs will be shot by this man!"
"Get down you idiot!"
*cough* Sorry went off on one.
Anyway. Pretty expressive models for 15mm!
I also have Lord Of The Rings figurines by Games Workshop, if anybody has heard of them.
For an idea of scale:
The green tank on the left and the 2 black men in the middle next to a penny.
