That's come together really nicely, always had a soft spot for a Mk1, never had one, but used to borrow a mates SS many years ago. Ah, fond memories Yep, very nice

not updated in a bit so heres most of the updates in one post got it running xmas eve and got a video its only had the 4 branch fitted so sounds a bit rough and was on the standard xr2 carb then bought some bike carbs for it using a pair nos early 90's ninja carbs made my own manifold as i'm not paying the prices of bogg brothers bought this off ebay to start the manifold building cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:ITcan see why a lot of people just buy a manifold ready made, its a lot of hassle making one, getting the carbs to sit level, clear the dizzy, making sure the float will still work and making the ports match each other etc i started with the flange plate and drilled it out so i could weld on a bit of pipe so i can keep the heater got the tubing and cut and shut it to fit the ports and carbs also cut some silicone hosing to fit then tacked it and tryed it on but was too close to the dizzy cap so had to modify the tubes a bit didn't get any pics after all welded up and clears everything, tapped it out for the servo the air line connector isn't staying just make sure it fits today we got the brakes sorted, gear linkage fitted and the engine running today then took it for a test drive round works yard bit scarey with no doorss, it does shift though, just doesn't stop as quick couple of pics while it was out had few other little issues in between like dizzy packing up, the new rear main oil seal failing, and some curse word denting the front wing while its been at work, also had trouble finding replacement doors but finally got them just repairing a few dents they've got and thats it up to date
