had a few of these myself, amazing cars, would have one again someday
prepare yourself for snapping bolts (pretty much everyone you undo lol)
also pop the rear seats forward and check where they clip into for rust (rear turrets)

I have another one too but it is rotten. Someone has already tried to polish the paint by the looks of things, I will try when it is warmer.
It has blueflame exhaust, ITG filter and performance leads. Came with a fuel cut defender but not fitted. I plan on a different downpipe(probably custom...), the standard is rubbish for flow! I will raise the boost and maybe Greddy piggyback ECU. I plan on tidying it up as well (sorting rust one the one arch etc). Wont be stripped like my metro turbo needs to be sensible for driving to work everyday!!!

use camskill for parts mate, they do loads, in fact they do downpipes IIRC

Awesome cars, had a few charades myself sadly not the Gtti version though. Sounds like you have some good plans 8)

car is suffering from boost creep at. Boosting to 0.8 bar and hitting fuel cut. No real progress yet. I washed the arches out on the weekend to get rid of the years of mud under there and retro fitted a boost gauge off my metro turbo. Got a downpipe coming soon
