After years of wanting a Trabant I finally have one ;D. Here's a few pics from the web site that it was advertised on. It even has a tow bar, optimistic maybe but might be useful . Now if you look carefully next to that large thing, you know the battery, you can just about see an engine, all 600cc of it. Mint interior as it has been looked after and always kept in a garage and never driven in bad weather. Now the only down side is that it's in Hungary. We bought it to use when we are out there on holiday visiting family. So I won't get to use it till March next year, but my wife's cousin picket it up for me yesterday and he said it drove very well and is in mint condition . So I am a very happy bunny, so what is Santa bringing you for Christmas this year.

I have made a request to my wife and kids this year to refrain from the usual tat of chocs, socks, booze etc and buy me something useful like a set of coil over springs or conversion tubes

Car wise, I'm hopefully getting a new stereo for the Polo. The early 90s pull-out Blaupunkt cassette radio just doesn't cut it, especially since it doesn't work all that well!

When I suggested some shiny things for the car I was met with a look that said "but seriously, what do you want?" Coilovers, chrome goodies, even engine parts for the rebuild. No? Socks and books it is then. So long as my Retro Cars subscription is renewed.

Hahaha, I'm hoping for a replacement head unit too as the Blaupunkt cassette radio in my Golf doesn't work either I'd love a set of wheels too to replace the 13 steels that I'm currently rocking but somehow I don't think Santa or my missus is going to bring me those.

Spark plug wires. The wife already got me GT5 and Santa let me have it early. That'll do me. --Phil

I've hit that 'mid-life' point and have already bought a convertible. So ... I'm buying a bike. But NO lycra. The current thinking is a Ridgeback Platinum, but they're not available until early Jan.

Current vehicle collection: 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero convertible - in mid-life crisis yellow No new retro as yet ... all attempts to sneak one onto the drive have failed.

I've asked for "Big trak" and some slot cars!
However i'd really like it if Santa could bring me a VW Bora TDI and take my Sierra to a good home.

A battery booster/compressor Toolset to keep in the car. Maybe a beaded seat cover Stop me getting hot and itchy against the canvas in the summer. And really exciting ideas like a new wiper blade or sparkplugs!!!
