Mr Hardcore informed me just now that I had won a couple of awards.
I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to those that voted for me, last year was a shock but this year was a double shock!
What pleases me more than anything is that the Area 52 thread came second in the 'Thread of the Year' category in quite a varied and very interesting line-up against some very strong nominations.
The Garage Section is one of the least frequented areas of the forum so for it to be voted so highly is a real tribute to all the people that come along and make it such a great place. If you're not sure what I am on about, check out the thread (click the link in my signature).
A big high five must also go to the Area 52 guys who were involved in the units first proper group build: 'Project X' - voted 2nd place in the 'Other Modifications' category. With no build thread and a vehicle that has remained pretty much off the radar on Retro Rides (on purpose ) it was amazing to see it do so well!
I just also want to say a massive congratulations to all the other winners. Each and every single one of them very much deserved...along with all the runners up too.
Retro Rides....what an awesome place! Thank you everyone for making it such a cool community.
