  i need to bash that hinge pin out due to wear n tear , ive done top ones before where you get at them and they're super tight needs to go from left to right as the picture shows it , as you can see no room to get a punch at it really all i can think off is drill a sturdy bit of angle iron and plug weld onto the pin and hope it holds while i batter it one any ideas folks |

tighten a clap on it, same as you would do to compress a caliper?

Cut the hinge off along the factory welds. Knock pin out and weld back again. Not ideal but looks like the only way

Can you knock it through from the right and then cut off some of the pin and then do it again until it's completely out?
I've done it this way myself on Mk1 Escorts.

Drill a hole into the available end, screw the removable end of a slide hammer to it with a long self-tapper, attach slide hammer, use slide hammer to remove.
EDIT - of course, the pin might be hardened, which would make driling it rather difficult. If that's the case, weld something to the accessible end of the pin to attach the slide hammer to - maybe a bolt, head against the pin, nut inside the slide hammer attachment.

I had the same problem on my hb viva  i bought the pin removal kit but with the door folding over the end you want to get at its impossible, i cut mine along the weld to get them of and they were stuck so bad that i had to use a thin blade in a grinder and cut between each section and then heat each bit and wack it out with a club hammer. To make things easier for getting the doors on and of i welded a couple of bits of 6mm steel to the hinge,drilled two holes and fixed to the door pillars   Good luck with it fella |

its on a mk2 polo , solid pin , no real room to get a normal drill on it
you can buy the loose hinge half and a pin so i assume they're meant to be replaced

I'd go with the idea of cutting off the head and also the protruding bit on left then drifting thorught from right. OK it's mean cutting the protruding bit off several times as it's drifted though but is the route I'd take.

if the hinges are available I'd just crack on with the thinnest thin disc you can get hold of  solved the issue of making new hinge pins fit tightly into worn hinges too ! |

think they might not be available as replacable part. If you get a new door, the door comes assembled with a complete hinge (including the bit that welds to the A post). if the door is sagging, could you use shim washers to take up the drop (cut them from an old tin etc)put them where the door bolts to the a post

Can you weld a bolt or some threaded bar on it and use a slide hammer?

minimal access for welding on a bolt..will only get 2x pea size blobs on and i recon it would snap off before it moves
if i could get a bolt onto it then slide a tube over and wind it out with a nut

I've got the same problem on my Astra. There's no space to get these out, and if they break off (which one side has), you're pretty much left with the angle grinder option! Can't you shave the welds off and then reweld it on? Or Dremel the end off and somehow knock it out?
I can't see removal without resorting to cutting something out.

Just off the top of my head (and access might still be a problem) but what about a balljoint splitter or perhaps a spring compressor? If you can squeeze one or the other in, might just give you the leverage to at least start the pin moving |
