As i passed my test in 2007 i haven't been able to tow a trailer above 750kg. Ive been meaning to do the trailer test for years but have been putting it off.
I've missed out on many oppotunitys that required me being able to quickly tow something myself, including having to pay someone to move my vehicles a few miles. Paying someone £75 for a 3 mile drive on the back of a truck pains me everytime. I'd rather borrow or rent a trailer and do it myself, soon ill be able to

I'm skeptical about the validity of these and other rave reviews, smell a bit like paid for advertising. And i fell for it. I bought 6 of them and to be honest. They suck. The light is fine, they are the correct colour and look bright when looking directly at them. But they just don't spread the light far. I'm very wary of the claims of 2200lumens per light. The tubes are very cheap feeling and although they are marketed as 4ft they are actually 117cm which is 3.8 That is in the description but feel a little cheated. In my large double garage and no other lights, i recon id need 18 of these to light it as much as 3 6ft florecent tubes did. I went out about an hour after receiving the above and bought 4x of these instead. www.screwfix.com/p/twin-5ft-led-batten-white-45w-4000lm/5440r#product_additional_details_containerGranted they are more than double the price. But i'd need to spend more on the silly 4ft tubes to light my garage, I'm going to use a couple of the 3.8ft ones for the workbench and the others will likely go in the attic instead. Not a suitable light for a workspace unless your going to use all 6 in a very small single garage or shed, wiring it up with a long wire for a portable light underneath the car may be a good usecase. Stick a couple magnets on the back and might be pretty good.

Its a shame with these videos, people often tresspass and take photos and are careless about saying where abouts they are/showing information which can lead others to the same location.
Ive seen a number of these videos and then heard rumors cars are stolen or parts pinched after being forgotten about for years and years.
Also like said above, if these cars ever do get sold owners are now less likely to be trustful of people who want to save them. Or more than likely they won't ever get sold because of it, just lose more and more parts.
Its different if the owner is around and knows filming is taking place but I'm not a fan of channels that specifically target this sort of content.

Crazy the stuff you find. Must have a knack for it, or a sixth sence that draws you in.
Its getting warmer and ive noticed more skips popping up in driveways having work done.
Might have to take the pickup out and go hunting.

I have the exact same thing. Fused spur off a socket in the hallway out under the patio to the garage, only thing different is i have an additional small fuse board with sockets and lights off that, but only ever 13 amp from the fused spur The additional problem for me is the whole house runs off that same 32amp circuit! I expected upstairs and downstairs to be atleast on their own circuits. upstairs and downstairs lights are tho. Weird... I'm going to run a new 10mm2 SWA cable to the garage and install a new consumer unit. Luckily I'm redecorating the whole house so I'm able to easily knock out some wall and route the cable into where the breaker is under the stairs.
Will also replace the existing consumer unit in the house and add the extra sub main to power the garage.
Will mean i get to have a 32Amp circuit in the garage so i can run my welder, air comp etc without worrying I'm going to also blow the house. Will also have a 16amp lighting circuit for the garage/workshop/bar
I'm going to run the majority of it myself and get a leccy in to finish it off/check it out and give the required approvals etc.

My first car was a 96 KA in green
I'm 6foot3 and i thought for 2 years that driving long distances was just inheriently uncomfortable, being the only car id driven for more than an hour at a time. When i bought my Focus i realised it was just the KA that was badly suited for me.
I gave it to my girlfriend at the time and then another 2 years later failed the MOT on rust, wasn't too bad but we binned it as the value for selling it was bascially scrap at the time even with an MOT and so it went for the 1.6 Sport ka as a replacement for her.
The little 1.6 engine in that thing was very fun. Had good poke off the line and suprised 'boy racers' with their saxos and 106s The car was certainly prone to rusting and the rear springs had both snapped which was weird. Easy to work on and all the parts were super cheap and easy to get. I'd imagine scrap yards still have KAs come in on the reg now.
If i was going to buy a low mileage and good condition cheap small car thats quirky and likely an investment The Sport KA would certainly be a top contender

The chassis on them are pretty curse word, and the floor will be pants. If you were dead set on doing it, remove the 'chassis' and lay the bottom of the caravan on a concrete/paving slab base. Quite alot of caravan chassis are like this.

I'd have likely added a third bay and kept 2 of the bays trusses open, so theres room for a lift or 2
Then you still have a workshop/office in the side and storage/additional room upstairs.
Pretty nice still tho, depends on the usecase. I can see more likely there being a home office or a gym in there

I'll give some praise for the Ryobi stuff. I have bought alot of their stuff over the last year or so. Its not tradesman quality, but I'm not a tradesman who uses tools 8 hours a day I bought a couple of cheap 5.5AH batterys non branded on a deal (Take the capacity with a grain of salt) and they work just as well as my branded 2AH battery and last longer. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MX7ZPXR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1I often use the non branded batterys for my Drill and Light bar, but keep the branded one for more tough jobs with the grinder and impact. Means i can buy a new tool with just the base, and use my existing batterys They do a bit of a deal during holidays. buy a starter kit and you can apply online for a free base tool. Pretty good value if you ask me.
