old Baking trays and frying pans.
old baking trays to chuck on the floor on your slammed vehicles to catch all the tranny and dif leaks 😉
chop up old frying pans to make dust pans *actually capable of handling hot stuff* off the floor

The easiest and convenient option would be Buy and install a readymade one. Unless you have all the different gauges of wires, connectors and the patients to do it without it turning in to a birds nest Only thing that’s worrying me about fitting a new loom is the car was originally 6v I believe and has been converted to 12v. Unsure if I will need to add to this or not don’t want to be melting my new loom I believe VW heritage do a loom for 61-67 beetle running an alternator.

Glad its in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing .Its being done PROPERLY ! One question... why did they fit that peddle box ? Was it necessary ? My assumption is, the original pedal box was sacrificed because of lack of space brake master & booster after the sr20det conversion.

Hehe good timing! Well if its slightly larger on the nose you can drop it in a standard drill an give it a skim with emery cloth/file.
That should bring it down to the correct size.

Well I'm back with another small engineering task. Am sure this time it won't be as complicated as the RD250 sprocket! I want a drift made-up, to remove the valve-guides on Honda 50cc head. They are approx 3cm long and have ID of 5mm and OD of 10mm. So I'd like something of 10mm diameter that could 'follow' the guide out of the head (instead of stopping short when the bottom of the guide gets flush with the head) and with a 'nose' that would fit inside the guide to centre it and keep things snug during the drifting operation. To give it more oomph I'd like the body of the tool to be bigger than 10mm. So I'm thinking start with a 20mm diameter steel bar. That would be your handle. Turned down to 10mm for twice length of guide (< or = 6cm) with a 5mm nose on it for sitting inside guide (say 2 cm). I've no idea how much a firm would take for turning this down but if it's charged by the mm could go down to say 17mm bar or 15mm but am thinking the smaller you go the less effective the drift becomes. Any thoughts? Doesn't really need to be 20mm. If the OD is 10mm. 12/14mm bar for the handle should be enough, down to 9mm for clearence, a shoulder down to 5mm for the nose. Have you got the stock or do you need the complete package?

Hi all, Just listed this on ebay For Sale Toyota Townace 8 seater Turbo diesel, recent MOT and a Full service. Its an Automatic Turbo diesel. 2180cc Got full interior 8 seats the middle ones can spin around to make a full bed. Pretty clean for its age. . New MOT in August got 4 new tyres, new battery a recent full service. new exhaust in the past year or so. Everything works as expected. Bearing in mind this is a 20 year old vehicle It has no rot underneath and has never been welded, a little rust on the front arch but that it. Got a couple of dents on the side, kinked roof but doesn't leak, which i haven't got around to getting fixed. Look at this on eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291911685761
