Just been sorting the photos from a great day. Met up with Seth and the family K and Bruce as well as HW and Jonny69 briefly. The car show out front was really good, the idea of a RR stand for next year should it happen is a great one, would defiantly be part of that. We started off checking out the carpark and then the little show. ;D

The thing that struck me was that the race even continued to its conclusion. Can you imagine that if such a horrific thing happened today, the race would carry on in any form whatsoever. The feeling was that stopping the race would hinder the rescue crews moving around, tens of thousands of people trying to leave would create chaos

Went to my local classic car clubs summer meet at a pub near me, I managed to drag a couple of friends along in the form of fellow camper owner Gren with his Karmann Gipsy and Mr & Mrs Lawsy in the Slamtana. Looking out from the roof of the Gipsy ;D

Its not a BBC program, its a DVD that was put together and titled by a motorsport book and film company called Paul Skilleter Books. BBC just bought the rights to show it on TV

ive seen this before but when did it become known as the DEADLIEST CRASH? considering that seems to be just a play with the discovery channel program deadliest catch thats a bit insulting... I thought it was just the program name but 1.40 in he actually says it became known as that? I believe its the motor racing crash with the greatest loss of human life, 82 people in the crowd died and about the same were injured.

Tragic accident. I watched it the other day, really good insight into the crash. The photos played together like a flick book at the end are scary
