Its a tidy and attractive (if you bin the spoiler) Camaro just begging for a V8 dropping in there.

I like it and its not that badly priced as these go nowadays

But its not even close to a "pro street look"

I'm with AKKU. Names are names. We've run a campaign here at work and my colleagues keep referring to a broken car mirror as a 'wing mirror' when it's clearly a 'door mirror' because it's mounting on the DOOR. I get called a pedant an awful lot. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I agree totally, even with the fact that the Camaro is definitely not Pro-Street, but a thread about Pro-Street cars is much cooler than a thread which moans about a bloke calling a car Pro-Street.

What bugs me is people saying a car is a "fresh japanese import". Saw it on a Full UK spec Toyota Paseo a month or so back. Guy selling claimed it was a "fresh japanese import", but you'd have to be stupid to believe it. Wasn't badged as a Cynos and had UK spec lights. And to top it off he said the milage was "in Kilometers" when it clearly wasn't.

If i were allowed to mention a gripe it is people who advertise a car as 'release bearing a bit noisy' when its actually the gearbox rattling itself to bits , in neutral, with release bearing not even in use!

I've always been under the impression that the release bearing is noisy when not in use as there's no pressure on it allowing it to rattle about, press the clutch putting pressure on it and the noise goes due to it not being able to rattle around any longer, Whether its in neutral or not.


My polo's been doing this for the last 7 months, if it was the gearbox shaking itself to death then how come the noise goes away when I press the clutch in?
