Owned by the mechanic i work with, he's just turned 65 and bought a retierment astra
Been his for ni-on 20 years
9 months MOT
tax till end of next month
needs a new ign barrel (attempted theft) and will require welrding for the next MOT to the lower rear quaters, rear arches and one seat mount.
Any inspection welcome in EN3 area just off J25 M25
i'll add his number tomorrow (left the bit of paper at the yard





















E/W, C/L E/M, FFSR, all the extra level indicators work including the low oil dipstick which is still intact !
no idea on the millage but he rebuilt the engine about 10 years ago and everything works

christ. Was just saying a few weeks ago that you never see em these days.

Looks like it needs a bit of love, but at that price it's sure to be worth doing, especially as people are asking mad money for Scrotes and Onions of this vintage these days.

P.S the car hasn't gone over 40 MPH for the last 20 years and neither has he unless i'm driving LoL !!

it does (just) with the temp gauge going sky high and a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust, thats if you dare with the brakes not too clever and the front wheels feeling like they're not connected, oh well looks like an engine rebuild aswell as a full suspension overhaul before i look at the bodywork then......... if it went through a legit mot 3 months ago i think the tester was being a little too kind!

Mot are not what they used to be The suspension on my orion is none exsistant but unless the shocks are leaking they don't seem to take any notice. what happened to the bounce test ?? my brake peddle has loads off travel wasnt noted as an advisory, they do work just you have to plant your foot, if I get in any other car I end up thankful I wore my seat belt . My mum had a mk2 fiesta that had never gone above 50 for 10 years. That was a pig to drive had about 5bhp when I could overtake a jcb and nearly killed people. never drove it after that. sure you will get it sorted
