For sale is my mothers Fiat, its scruffy as hell, lacquer peeling off the bumpers, drivers seat bolster is worn, rear parcel shelf has speaker holes in it from previous owners.
BUT, its running, taxed and tested. It drives fairly well, plenty of poke, decent on fuel, jolly fun to drive really.
I'll list whats wrong with it, its still in use daily, and its taken my mother to kent and back several times since she has owned it no problem, I have driven it to coventry and back (and I wasnt hanging around) and it was great.
Anyway,
It will need 4 new tyres, one is illegal, but has a new space saver spare for driving it home.
Exhaust needs rehanging and clamping up again, you can hear it bang against the body under acceleration
Passenger CV boot needs reseating.
Blue smoke upon first start up in the morning, stem seals could do with replacement. That said, its been like this for a year now, and it still wont give up.
Thats all the grotty points really, weekends work would see it fit. Its not got any major rot, will see a new MOT in November with the above points addressed easily.
Its had, in her ownership, a new front spring, a new clutch cable, new clutch pivot point inside the car, and within the past year, a new alternator and 2 months ago, a new radiator.
For this motorcar, all she is asking is £150 to drive it away as it is, with the tax included. Or £85 to take it away, and she keeps the tax. There is no CD player included though.
All in all, its a dirty cheap car that will do someone brilliantly through the summer.
Not really open to offers on the cinq, tbh if it doesnt sell, I'll use it myself for autotesting (Which is a stupid idea for me due to lack of funds, but I am stupid) or just get weighed in.
