Well... it isn't ancient but if you're looking do a fair few miles as cheaply as possible, then this is for you.
Y reg VW Golf TDI Estate in Silver. First registered in April 2001, so qualifies for the CO2 based tax, which in this case works right in its favour given it's £115 a year rather than over £200 as it would be for anything up to March 2001.
Currently on a private plate which will be removed as part of the sale.
119k from new with service history and old MOTs to prove - low miles for one of these.

Electric windows, mirrors and roof, central locking and PAS.
Always does at least 50mpg and I recently got a genuine 68mpg out of it on a long run, so probably as economical as you'll find for the size of car.
