Wow, some really nice examples here. Sadly all mine bit the dust many years ago. But, it did inspire me to venture up into the loft to dig out my Matchbox Race 'n' Chase set. Not got it going properly yet but all the signs are good so won't be long...It's going to be just like christmas 1981 all over again!!  Anyone else have a Matchbox slot racing set?? Sure have. ;D   I've got 2 x Race 'n' Chase sets both are brandnew & unused bought them off ebay a good few years ago.I will try & get some pictures posted of my collection of Matchbox Powertrack,Aurora AFX,Tyco & Tomy AFX slot cars all new & unused (I'm a bit sad like that)  |

Nice! Definately stick up some pics i'd be interested to see what you got as I've got a few AFX and others too. I recently sold a lot of my Powertrack cars on ebay and was very suprised at what some of them sold for...Did you happen to see em?

I recently sold a lot of my Powertrack cars on ebay and was very suprised at what some of them sold for...Did you happen to see em? I have not bought any cars in the last 6 years or so. Will do  I will try & get some posted this weekend, I have around 200 cars in total including the rare Tomy AFX Feather Light cars and some Counterlane cars (The company that took over Matchbox Powertrack). |

Tidy, sounds like a nice collection. I just sold, amongst others, a boxed counterlane BMW for just under £13 and the ultra rare 12V Gold MkII Escort for £490  !! I still can't believe it... |

Just pulled this lot from the loft....  Matchbox, Jaguar D-Type and XK140, Austin A50 & MG Sportscar (MGA).  Matchbox Type 3 camper.  These are a bit worse for wear, Huskey Jaguar Mk 10, Corsair & Fairlane Police car  Matchbox Firebird & Corvette  Corgi, Mercedes 190, 911, & XJS came free with petrol and some Hotwheels  Cement mixer...  1999 First Edition '56 Ford Truck, & 2000 First Edition Phantastique. All for sale if anybody is interested. |

Havn't been posting much here but my love of the HW is massive. One of my fav is the 69 mustang which last year came in several colours...  Opened them to add to the 2012 mystrey and 2008/09 mainline..  There also the hunt version...  As well as the garage,fire rod,cop rod, hot one and 100% which are all packed away. These are my extras of the racing series from last year so you get the idea of the size of my habbit..  |

Lovin' the mustangs,it becomes an addiction after a while does'nt it! Got a nice looking HW BMW 2002 in orange from ASDA the other day,sadly only one in the tray so my son will have to wait AGAIN!   Cracker is'nt it?  |

This is probably a daft question, do you open the packs and display the cars seperately? I was in Asda recently, looking for Lego collectible minifigs, and couldn't resist getting a couple of Hot Wheels and looking at the website there are a few more I like... slippery slope... but cheaper than 1/43 diecast. '12 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca & '12 Camaro ZL1  Those classics look brilliant. Mark |
