I've not been too active on here in recent months due to being very busy with a new job. With the new job came the potential for a good spot for a meet.
I am now the Head Chef at Beadlow manor country club on the a507 between shefford and ampthill. Easy reach from the A1m the M1 and from bedford. Also not a bad place for a pre santapod meet up as up into bedford is quick and easy then onto the a6
We have an ENOURMOUS car park. a reasonably priced bar .. (not wetherspoons cheap but not proper country club prices.) and with some pre warning of expected numbers I can organise bacon rolls , sausage rolls etc for bargain prices.
I mentioned the idea to my boss and he made good noises and my aim is to nock out bacon rolls etc for £1 maybe £1.50 for you guys at meets and such.
