Anybody know where I can get something like this  I know magnaflow do them but they're around £76 which I think is way too much. |

Try your local motor factors/exhaust centre. Such things can be found in the Bosal catalogue.
A wander round their exhaust stores can also reveal them as part of larger sections - that can get pricey but once you know what to look for, the scrapyard beckons.....

discoverys 2.5 tdi's have pretty much the same as that from downpipe to the middle section, pipe is either 2.25 or 2.5 inch diameter

Yeah bosal or walker would do it. As said go to local quickfit type place and ask to look in the book..
