The Chevette has decided it no longer likes to keep it's oil inside it's engine and has spat quite a bit of it out of the oil pressure gauge feed, unfortunately the thread has stripped in the engine front cover so need to strip the front end of the engine down. Gutted, this was the one show I wanted to do this year

Straight forward enough fix but not one that can be done in a few hours. Could of been worse if I hadn't spotted the leak at the petrol station, if it had failed on the motorway I could of been looking at a full engine rebuild. Ho hum these things are sent to try us

I feel your pain bud. My gearbox casing has shattered just after I got a custom prop fitted. Found milling fluid in the curse word, it was never balanced right. A few days before RR. Hope you get it sorted! There's always next year

I feel your pain. I at least managed to set off but 35 miles from home the coil and points/condenser decided to fook up. Really annoying as i have a coil but no points! At least I managed to get down in the modern after having the poor retro-metro recovered. Gutted but at least its an easy fix (didnt make the space on the northern stand where the metro should have been any easier to see!)
