Gotta say straight off the bat that it was a fantabulous show. Enjoyed last year but this one pipped it in every way, relaxed and friendly as ever vibe wrapped up with a great venue in a pretty part of the world.
Must say a big thanks for making sure the kids were happy and safe around the camp site. They had a great time and our youngest at 3 is catching up with her 6 year old brother id'ing old cars, Everything square with a boot is still a Cortina though bless her.
Due to our general tardiness we missed the link with the southeast convoy though did chat to a nice chap with a broken matt black mondy on Cragers in Beaconsfeild services. Late arrival at camp after some horrid traffic meant dinner and bed for the kids after the tent was up and me and the Mrs weren't far behind after a drink or few . Lazy day on Saturday with a pub lunch thrown in for good measure after exploring the countryside. Rain didn't dampen the mood in the evening, plenty of drinks and chats saw us alright.
Show day was ace, got a good spot up in the trees with plenty of much needed shade. Sided in next to Mr and Mrs Lucky GTI and their tidy Mk2.
Had a coffee then a wander through the orchard snapping stuff that caught my eye. Something for everyone and really too much goodness for any one person to take in, especially when trying to keep tabs on the kids anyhow. Here's just a taster.
Great sun hat
Awesome, want one of these.
Simca racer was right up my street.
Naturally

Chatted for a while with Benzboy before getting dragged away. Patina plastic fantastic.

Pleased with this shot of Octagonals Nova

Tidy 'scort and Emdee and Polo in the background resplendent in it's understated coolness, so understated in fact I didn't spot him till I looked at the pics. Sorry fella, how rude.

Chuckle of the day was the KFW axle tramp show
Not sure what brave soul is riding shotgun here although they seem to be screaming in terror ;D
Few more hill climb shots
More here Didn't even get all the way round the site so missed a fair few great cars. Looking forward to next year already, top show.
