ok, so I took the decision to keep my jag till university term starts..which is tomorrow!!...iv loved running around in the disreputeable old bus, its smooth, sweet and classy with lots of power from its v8 engine. gearchanges are silky smooth and interior is beautiful..car is brg in colour with beige leather and black wood. there are a couple of bubble coming thru on the front arches but the car is rock solid elsewhere and will provide years of service yet. its only covered 84k miles, has 10 months or so mot and is tax till october. reduced price to £800 as it will now sit outside my house unused as its a bit ostentatious to use a v8 jag to commute back and forth to uni on an imoverished students income!!....
faults....aforementioned slight bubbling on front wings
cruise doesnt work
aircon isnt freezing but all heaters work
drivers window doesnt open
slight pull to left under heavy braking
good points..mechanically spot on, never overheats, uses no oil, sounds fantastic
beautiful interior, perfect headlining, rare colur combo
solid throughout
good tyres
long mot and tax
low miles
£800..cheapest mot and tax xj8 around....not a clunky old smoker, a classy, enjoyeable characterful motor...sawn offs and bodybags available by seperate negotiation....
