This is a Seicento Sporting with Schumacher bumpers in yellow. The car has been in the family for a while now, I had a Cinquecento Sporting and after my brother saw how cheap and fun it was he bought this, the more reliable newer version.
My brother moved away a year ago and so I sold my Cinquecento and have since owned and maintained this. It is a great car but I have been away for months this summer so there are a few issues that I haven't got round to sorting out. As I am moving away to University in two weeks I need it gone. I have a choice, scrap it and ruin a car that could be turned to concourse condition in a year. Or outline the faults, list it everywhere with a low price and hope someone saves it.
The car is running fine, everything works, and so apart from the fact it's sorned it is completely drivable.
The faults- ( I will get pictures of them all!)
The rear nearside wheel is off my old Cinquecento, it is in scruffy condition but does it's job.
Aerial snapped off. Can still get the radio though.
The rear offside wheel has developed a very slow puncture, air will stay in for roughly 2 days.
The headgasket is just starting to go. It's not a difficult job, I have done it on the Cinquecento which shares the same engine. It took me and zimm -off this forum- a day and a half and we welded up the Cinquecentos exhaust as well. The Gasket kit is about 20 quid off ebay.
The tracking is off at the front. This means the two front tyres are wearing down.
There is rust on the tip of the exhaust.
Apart from this the car is fantastic, no rust, no knocks or anything from the engine.
All this car needs is a good service and the headgasket sorted in the future and it will be back to mint condition. It is all completely stock except for the Cinquecento wheel and the CD player.
I will give you all my spares from both cars as I will have no need for them. Can't keep a car at Uni.
