HI Guys n Gals,
This was only meant as a tide-me-over but it's gone above and beyond in the short time we've had her.
Background
111k miles, of which 12k done in last four years
1.5 non-turbo diesel
5-door
cheap insurance
practical
Good Bits
Epic mpg - I've had 77mpg from it without even trying
Timing belt and exhaust changed this month (have receipt)
New battery and alternator in last couple of months
One new tyre
New discs and pads in last year or so
Interior in good nick (nice 90's flavour!)
Comfy for a little car
Decent boot
Bu99er all rust
Sunshine roof(!)
Bad bits
Quite a few dings; none have provoked rust and quite a few have been touched up.
Needs the 'choke' mechanism either fettling or replacing - it starts perfectly but you need to depress the loud pedal.
One driveshaft starting to make a few 'i'm worn' noises.
One or two tyres will be needed in the next 1000 miles or so.
