Hey guys, some of you know the car, many of you don't. Perry the Fiesta has been raising money for Cancer Research UK, to the tune of £170. Unfortunately, he failed his MoT and Retest on emissions. I'm advised that a new oxygen sensor may be the saviour, but I can't afford £70 for something I can't guarantee.
Passenger side door is damaged by the lock, door still locks and unlocks from the inside
Both lights have been tinted all red, with indicators legally flashing amber
There is minor rusting on the front and rear valences and along the sills, however the major problem areas such as the fuel cap and door shuts are completely clean
Both sides of the car have been painted in a matte black outdoor metal paint, and will not come of without paint stripper
Aside from the obvious cosmetic changes, the car is completely standard, with all original parts fitted. The engine has been swapped for a 46k mile block, as opposed to the 56k on the clock.
I will stress that although the car is a runner, it does not have a valid MoT on emissions alone. It passed on all other aspects of the test with no advisory's.
Its a 1.1 Classic Quartz (mk3.5), so either fix it up and use it for a new driver, it cost me £1500 to insure on my own policy at 18 years old, or you can use it to re-shell an XR2i or RS Turbo project, your call
For now I'll ask for £400, but something is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. If no-one shows interest in the first week or so, i'm likely to break it, with all parts available, as well as some spares
