Thought I would post up something ive been working on for the last 6 months..... I'll ramble through most of it up to the point I'm up to now  A friends dad wanted this old Triumph to be rebuilt, for a bit of track day fun. So I give you the car as I got it......  The plan was lower, wider, bigger engine, cage.... After a month, we had most of the cage in, and started on the bodywork.  The dash came out, and a fibreglass dash pod added...  The engine bay was cleaned, and in primer, the slant 4 2litre was removed. Brackets added to the suspension turrets for a strut brace.  Engine ready to install....  Front suspension was treated to a coil over conversion kit  Which looked quite at home under the arches  Wheels were next   Interior cage painted, engine bay painted with engine in etc..  Rolling and about to be masked up ready to finish the bodywork and get into primer. Front and rear bumpers from a Vauxhall Calibra grafted onto the car  The front lookedok after it was blended!  |

Dash pod installed with guages, pop off steering wheel, also the pedal box, brake servo and master cylinder courtesy of a mk5 cortina  Fuel tank, axle and underside cleaned and painted  Final flat before paint....  And how she sits currently  |

I might have to wait to see it fully finished and in light, but that bumper grafting is potentially genius. The last picture makes me think Supra/Firebird.

Great to see something different on a TR7, bit Nascar? Isn't that number on the dash pod going to be perfectly reflected in the screen? Or is it not staying? |

The last picture makes me think Supra/Firebird. This was one of the first things we said when we fitted up the bumper. The bumper really shouldnt fit, and if you havn't seen it, you would imagine it would look gash! The rear of the car is wearing the calibra rear bumper, massivley cut down, which i don't seem to have posted so here it is..... (The small steel bracket coming out of the bumper is the mounting point for a green TRS tow strap) ;D  |

Small update We got the front screen fitted in over the weekend, gone for a black rubber seal around the whole glass, rather than the chromes  And tonight i've finished off the drivers door window and slider  Hopefully have the boot and doors painted and hung over the weekend ;D |
