Bought this off a friend who was going to work abroad and it needed work, so ive fixed it up and here it is to sell on.
I have £1000 of receipts just from 2010.
I personally have done (with photos and receipts)
Headgasket
Waterpump
Timingbelt / tensioner
Coolant elbow
Rocker gasket
Thermostat housing & thermostat & seals (modded 'stat)
Inlet / Exhaust gaskets
Coolant flush
Oil / filter change
Plugs
Top rad hose (gen)
Front NS caliper
Few exhaust hangers
Recon brake servo (was passing vacuum)
CTS
It had basically blown the top hose off itself on the dual carriageway and he had it towed back, no overheating or signs of cross contaminiation, but I was wary of the kseries. I got a hose on it and I just couldnt shift an airlock. So I basically did all of the above in a weekend, and the problem seemed to have been a combination of a knackered stat and a passing inlet manifold gasket.
So I'm looking to sell it on for no less than the advertised price. The only bad points is a patch of rust on the passenger door and the drivers door doesnt unlock with the central locking, but locks fine and unlocks with the key.

Immac. Mk2 Golf / Corrado / Scirrocco
Or anything else tbh, no breadvans or tiny stuff pls.
