I'm driving this back from France (UK registered) where its been for the last 10 months
the MOT runs out on 6 november 2011
Its best described as "unloved". Its also best described as "tatty" and "shabby"
a showcar it is not. The previous owner never used it (he had it for at least 10 years) and so it took in the fresh, salty cornish air which explains the paintwork.
It has only done around 86k miles however (old MOT's and receipts available). And it still has the emblem on the bonnet ;-)
Despite its looks, it works just fine. Its served me well the last 10 months but unless someone wants to rescue her, its off to the scrappy she goes.
work for mot: exhaust tailpipe has started blowing and maybe the handbrake needs a bit of adjustment. The temp gauge is not working but it has never overheated on me. I have a sender that I can leave with the car but its probably worth the tenner a new thermostat costs to replace at the same time
so anyone want a cheap (price I'd get from the scrappy) runabout? It'll hit the UK shores on thursday. No answer by then and its goodbye farewell adieu...
