Right money is really needed at the min so I have to put my project up for sale. I bought this scirocco in June to give a good clean up and sell, I then changed my mind and turned it into a project. The car hasn't been on the road since 2004, it is solid there is no rust on the arches, sills etc. I have had to buy a new fuel neck, front pass wing, number plate lights so far. All it needs is a new driver wing, however these can be had for like £15 which my other one cost.
Mods done:
The arches were rolled and flared sometime
the rear wipe is gone
the rear badges are gone
the roof strips are gone
the body kit is gone
Things it needs:
Spraying
New driver wing
Set of bumpers if you want to run them, I wasnt going to.
It has 145k on the clock I think. The MFA works, the brakes are not seized, neither is the clutch. I have driven it about on my drive section and all was fine. I think after doing the paint and sticking it straight for an MOT it would pass staright away. All the brake pipes are solid etc. It was well looked after by prev owners who had it for near 20 years I think.
