Right ho after getting monumentally fubared over a total and utter timewaster,to the tune of me driving 300 miles out of my way with the guy then deciding to go AWOL,this baby's back up for sale.
Just drove it up to Aberdeen this morning and once again it was faultless,used no oil or water,in fact the economy seemed better than ever???
So,to the van.
It's 1998,Mot til may,taxed til dec,pas,recent timing belt done and full service,only work in my ownership has been a wheelbearing on the rear.
I jetwashed it in work the other day and it's a pretty straight example,I may even machine polish it up a bit as 80% of it's good.
However,it's an old tranny so there are issues,the drivers front arch is shot,it looked a bit rough but when I dug deeper it had gone,but the inner arch is good.passenger side is not nearly as bad but in my opinion both need sorting.
Rear arches are fine.
Rear door bottoms aren't brilliant,again would be done to be perfect but not terrible,no fumes leaking in etc.
Chassis VERY SOLID!
Rear bumper has a few dents but I will sort this out before sale,it's really easy to do.
Rear passenger tyre was bald but now replaced,rest of tyres are fine.
All in all very useable,barely run in at 102000,no pump problems that the newer ones suffer from,starts in any weather,never runs warm,everything works perfectly,cab is clean,heater lovely and warm(only blows on setting 3,could be a diode pack/switch,common fault).
This has a massive load area,I put two 3.05m worktops straight in,doors shut fine.
Price is £550,no offers whatsoever,there are complete buckets on eBay for £600 with no t&t and starship mileages.
