I have for sale a 1996 vw golf 1.4 se.Its a 5 door in flash red,Being an se it has the gti bits on it as well as silver dials etc.So you get the gti looks without the insurance stinging you,But you also benefit from the cheaper insurance and the cheaper tax :-).Its also nippier than you may think for a 1.4.
It would look great lowered with the right wheels on
It drives really well and mileage is147k miles and does everything it should do and is very good on fuel,I have just put it through an mot so will come with 12months mot and has tax until end jan next year and also comes with booklets and service history etc.
Bodywise is good but does have 2 scabs on the passenger doors and a small dink in the rear corner(hasnt broken the paint and could be easily pushed out)
Also the springs gone in the boot lock but can still be opened easily
It has
smoked headlamps/rear lights and side indicators
smoked front fog lights indicators(fogs not connected)
alloy wheels with good tyres
power steering
c/locking
full gti bodykit
gti front grill
Its an ideal base for a project or for whatever you want to do with it...
