Just a suggestion but as it's Christmas I thought maybe we could all share a bit of love and have a parts amnesty ie, every body puts up a part (nothing expensive, the sort of thing you'd normally ask a tenner or so for) for free, and give it away to someone in the community.
There was a thread about a lot of people having a rough 2011 (started buy Akku I think) so what better way to generate some good karma for next year and make a fell RR's Christmas
Just a thought, anyone else think it's a good idea?

probably best that people just put an advert in the wanted section, and let nature takes it course, otherwise you might end up offering bits and getting dealers asking for the lot.

We do run a freecycle section on the axownersclub to get parts to people where they might otherwise be binned...

Freecycle - as mentioned this is already done on the AX forum and looks like a good idea. Need to decide if it's for car-stuff only or is it open to anything when you're house-clearing (a free fridge isn't car related but would be nice ) probably best that people just put an advert in the wanted section, and let nature takes it course, otherwise you might end up offering bits and getting dealers asking for the lot. I've given stuff away on Freecycle before and was not a happy bunny when a trader turned up to see what he get to put on his car-boot sale stall
