I need one similar to yours for my Mini!

Building roof chopped, screen raked '68 Mini with G13B 1.3 16v Gti engine with LSD, Yamaha R1 carbs. As well as mk1 Suzuki Swift Gti AWD with a turbo. Drives PHEV Outlander but wishing my mk1 Swift Gti or mk2 CRX Vt were still with me!

Are two anti-roll bars needed? Surely it doesn't need that much understeer? you forget i'm fitting a heavier engine and the wheel base is shorter than the classic Mini. watch how much lean they have

Anti roll bars won't help with the wheelbase, narrow track maybe

bit tight, going to have to cut the oil filter out engine may have to come out again if the engine mounts move at all for some more clearance modifications but otherwise it's going well.

Probably worth just running a remote filter? That's what we have, just a machined disc tat fits on inlet on the block then.

You can probably find a shorter filter easily enough. rycofilters.com.au find your original filter, get the thread and seal sizes, then search those for something suitable (just use vague search terms such as 75-78mm instead of 76mm or it wont find anything). Then cross reference to brand of choice. Seeemples

cheers. tis tight got to love having a lathe to hand steering needs moving slightly away from the dash and I didn't like the way the centre looked so from this to this looks much nicer
