Right so ive been given a set of 4 pot austin princess calipers by my dad, alight they will need a refurb, but is it possible to fit these under 13" rs 4 spokes on a mk2 fiesta? if so, what discs will i need to run?

I "think" they only fit in place of solid calipers NOT sliding body ones ? offset from the hub is wronge but not 100% on that but TBH i don't use em anyway, they overhang even the bigger 248mm capri/cortina discs so they would be waisting even more pad on the smaller 221mm fiesta disc, they are well past thier sell by date as an upgrade and TBH were years ago.
They cost shed loads to rebuild, you need to sod about with the plumbing and there's the need to change the master cylinder to get a decent pedal, personly i'd stick em on ebay make a wad and spend it on mondeo calipers or similar.

Princess 4 pots are an "m16" type caliper, and supposedly really heavy for what they are. They became popular more because they were cheap and easy to get hold of, and bolted straight up to escorts as a bit of an upgrade, rather than because they were actually any good.
I've no idea if they will fit on a fiesta, but I do know that there are good, simple upgrades like to escort or mondeo brakes, that work well.

Indeed they are very heavy and not all that powerful compared to modern stuff. I would try some Mondy items myself  . I admit they would look quite cool under the calipers... |
