The water pump and cambelt needs changing on a friends mk5 or 6 escort, its got the 1.8 16v 105hp zetec engine, and i was wondering if the cambelt and waterpump for a 2.0 zetec fits, since those are the only ones my weak ebay skills can find  |

Cambelt (as far as I remember) is the same on all siver top (zetec-E) but the water pump won't be the same unless you have found one for a 2.0 escort - the Mondeo runs the pump with the back of the aux belt so it runs backwards compared to the escort one.

they didnt do a 2.0 zetec escort , pump has to be from a 1600 or 1800 fiesta or escort , as long as its all silver top then belts are the same,.

Going from what you are saying the 2.0 belt should fit but the pump will. FWIW, the cambelt does not drive the water pump (or is it gone on your car?).
