Are there any retro drivers that meet up in the middlesbrough/stockton area, I`ve just moved up here from scarborough and i`m a bit bored on a night and weekend, no one for car chat, none of the lads at work are really even into motors, lol. Not to the daft extreme of driving a car thats 24 years old everyday just because they can, like me, anyway. I`m into ma 1980`s cars all i`ve got a the mo is ma daily driver a 1987 saab 900.
If anyones near me and wants a car fixing and tinkering buddy give me a message.

check out the events section on here, the main one is the Metro Centre meet starting in April. Chevazon has just started a meet in Durham thats starting to pick up. closet thing for you will be the meet at the A19 diner(I think first wed of the month)

cheers u lot, i wouldn`t mind a trip to the ok diner meet. i`m guessing that`ll be this wednesday coming then. Do many people turn up and is it a big venue?

check out www.north-east-streetrod-club.webs.com for the dates. the OK diner is on all year round afaik it's only small and mainly full of yanks and hot rods, just what i've heard i've not been. The metro centre meet is more of a mixture but doesn't start till April. there's a meet I go to at Aliweld near Prudhoe that starts April as wellmight be a bit of a hike for you though.PM Chevazon he'll put you on the PM list for the next RR meet other than that keep checking on here someone will bump the meet threads up when their due to start. |
