More pics please. Love a mk2 Granada. My dad used to drive us miles in his old 2.3L. Got a soft spot for the mk2's.

Hi
Nice , I had one of these in white with a brown stripe down the side , great until the timing gear went.
I take it the oil leaks are cam cover and chain tensioner . lol ;D

cresad, the oil leaks this time appear to only be the cam covers never had the tensioner leak...yet shall try and get some old pics scanned up and posted when i get a chance. started off being a 2.8 carb model that i got from auction for the pricely sum of 30quid ;D although with a knackered 2.8 lump that still motivated the ole girl home

well, i suppose a little history wouldnt hurt got the old wagon years ago now (12years i think ), from a car auction. the car as it was didnt sell, as the big end bearings were shot and the engine obviously noisy as hell. not what auctioners are looking for managed to bag it for the pricely sum of £30, and drove it home ;D a trip to the breakers to get a new heart for the ole girl for a ton (and collected in the back of my k10 micra ), overhauled the brakes and took it to work for its 1st mot in my ownership, which it passed managed 4 track events so far in it, and a current best of 15.7s at Santa Pod with the autobox and dodgy fuelling ;D

Hi I've just sorted the oil leak on the cam cover's of my 24v using a contact gasket sealer called Gasgacinch. I did a thread about it on the granada temp forum - gsoonline.freeforums.org/post347.html#p347 - if it's any good to you. Adam

Excellent car I must say. Certainly has a bit of presence. Prey tell on the spec of the car . Any interior shots? thank you very much ;D current spec is +1mm over bore (now 2995cc) Wossner forged pistons H section rods tubular manifolds and twin 2inch exhaust slightly ported heads (by myself, so not sure if they are better ) and the Emerald ecu which is currently only on a basic map and limited to 5000rpm ;D still running the mk3 granada 4speed auto box too, despite what the nay sayers think, its been 100% faultless i do have an interior shot, shall get some others uploaded tonight and of the engine bay too

Thats looking real smart, cossie rims defo suit the mk2 nicely. Ive had quite a few mk2's but id love another someday, perhaps a pre-facelift. The mk3 autoboxes do seem a bit weak but thats probably down to a lack of servicing if anything. There a nice smooth box when working right tho

thanks nadaman ;D not found the autobox to be weak yet, and it has been up the pod and several trackdays at Brands and survived perfectly so far well, last thursday whilst having a nosey underneath I thought I ought to take a look at this hmm, wonder what else is in there and the expanding foam that was in there

All nice and solid at the end of the sill now, and a liberal squirt of some generic waxoil in the cavities too ;D And the section that was made up for repairing the sill as well All the credit to Martin at my work though, as he done the welding and bent up the sill patch panel ;D
