other than an average of 20mpg at the mo, the 24v is good for me ;D hoping to improve the economy and power with a proper setup on it tho, but thats as and when i can afford it and the noise at 4-6000rpm with the tubular manifolds and stainless system is intoxicating

Well, most mk2 granada owners will tell you the brakes arent that brilliant as standard. This is usually due to poor maintenance on them, as I found the standard stoppers more than adequate for hauling up the ole barge ;D However, after the 2nd track day I noticed a brake vibration (warped rear drum!) and decided to upgrade a bit. The rears are now mk3 24v setup, using a modified mk3 handbrake cable and some home made brackets And after looking around for front bake upgrades and being put off by the 1k price tag of most, I managed to get a bigger setup for half the price ;D Went from these standard ones to these ;D Need to order up a new set of hoses and replace a metal pipe that goes to the rear though

Well, the brakes are still ok after being on the car over a year now ;D (although i strongly advise people to be certain they use their brakes hard if they choose mintex 1144 pads! ) Got another god damn oil leak from the cam cover though, but that will wait till i get the modified inlet manifold back to go on at the same time

Well, the oil leaks will wait till I get the inlet manifold back from being modified so that can all be done in 1 hit ;D Shall plumb the breather on the catch tank back in to the air filter as well at some point, and hopefully stop the fumes getting in the car Spare inlet manifold currently looks like this though, after carefully prising off the end caps

They are long gone I'm afraid. Although at a last check, they weren't that expensive to get recon ones from Unipart if that's any help for you?

What break upgrade do you have on the front ? The front brakes are standard discs, pads and calipers from a bmw e38 7 series ;D Brackets made up for the calipers to bolt up to the hubs, and the discs redrilled to the stud pattern of the Granada discs and bolted to the rear of the hubs as per standard. Managed to loose the 315mm discs behind 16inch wheels, possible even 15inch ones when i get some to test

Finally got the spare wheel well sorted out, was a tad rotten and the last repair was showing through as well My good friend Dave came round to my workplace yesterday on his day off and set to it for me And after a couple of hours measuring up and double checking chopped it out And by the end of the day was all new metal and water tight again. Just need to seam seal the joints and give it a lick of stone chip and paint and away we go again (I know, I've not vacuumed the curse word out the well in this pic )

Looking good, nice repair work on the wheel well. What size tyres have you got on the cossie rims? Ive just picked a set up for my mk2 estate but they will need tyres, got 205 50 16 on at the mo but I'm thinking of going with 195 45's
