how fit accuspark electric ign to viva hb

bought accuspark electrnic ign kit,treid to fit normal way to coil doesent work,doing my head in,is special way doing it,

When I fitted one to my scimitar, I had to retime the dizzy, because the trigger fired in a different poistion to the points.

Is it trying to fire?

Also, they die immediatley if you get the wires the wrong way round.

Is it actually triggering the coil and giveing you a spark at the king leads?

Check you've positioned the collar containing the magnets exactly in-line with the fixed magnetic receiver and that the latter is wired correctly.

Does the Viva have a ballasted ignition system? If so the ~6V at the coil under normal condition probably won' be enough for the accuspark: try running the +ve feed to an ignition-switched live.
