What a difference wheels make, looks seriously awesome. Love the Aerodecks anyway, like a giant hatch for transporting old folk. Was bidding on one of these on ebay a couple of months back, unfortunately it went for slightly over my budget still got the Chevette now so silver linings and all that.

Big fan of this, I really like the colour that it is at the moment though. Might be worth giving those bumper tops some linseed lovin' to get them a bit blacker? Those wheels and the tinted lights are ace

Cheers for all the comments guys. The wheels have got to be my favourite part of the car (other than the pop up lights that is lol), I'm so protective of them though. I check them over after any long drive just to clean off any dead bugs there might be on them! I've decided on the paint scheme I'm going to go - it'll be satin white and satin black, in a retro J 2 tone style. Marvin's been feeling a bit down today due to the weather, and although he has a new drivers door mirror, there is quite a bit of rust behind the mirror, so that got him feeling a bit down too Basically what I did was relocated the fuses and switched them. I have 2 switches at the moment, one for each side, and I can stop the lights wherever I want I need to do the joint switch tomorrow as stopping each light on its own at the same level takes a bit of skill and a lot of luck. With my system I can do depressed Marvin, drunk Marvin, fly in the eye Marvin and flirting (aka winking) Marvin. I accidentally put ethanol in Marvin's tank and he got a bit drunk!! The switch controls. The left two do the left and right lights respectively, the right switch controls my cooling fan (didn't have £25 for a new sensor so I just bypassed it, much better!!) The left light and the fan are both turned off, why those switches are the opposite direction to the middle (right light) switch. And the wiring from the fuse box:

Lovely car there! Looks spot in its current guise. Please say you have one or fuses present in that light modification...

I absolutley ADORE these cars. Probably up there in my top five cars I've yet to own.
Please, please, please, please don't paint it satin white (or satin anything!) they are getting so rare now I thought you'd be looking to preserve this? The blue is lovely and really suits the shape/style of the car. If I could, I'd offer to buy it off you if it meant not seeing it painted in satin.

I'm with Bruce here, It looks like a nice, clean example of what is now a rare car but don't ruin it with ill thought out mods and paint jobs, The rims look great but please don't go over board on it, That wiring in the fuse looks looks iffy as well, i hope it is fused or it will burn out.

Don't worry guys, I've got the fuses in the wiring for the lights, all I did was just enable me to break the circuit around the fuse. It's essentially the same as one of these £30 sleepy eye kits off of eBay, just I made it myself! The main reason I was thinking about painting it satin white was because I'm colour blind, so I can't actually properly see the colour of my car. Everyone keeps telling me it's a lovely colour, but I don't know LOL I get confused with that the colour on the log book is blue, but the name of the colour with Honda is a green. I'll probably keep it the factory colour on the top half, but as I'll be sorting the rust out, majority of which is on the lower half of the car below the bump strip, that part of the car will probably go black or grey, to match in with the original press release photos of the car.

Cheers man. Still got a fair bit left to do before I'm going to be completely happy with it.
All that's left to do now is: - get the sides sorted and painted - top end rebuild - stage 1 cam and adjustable pulley - carb conversion with Weber 38 carb - tint the windows - find a rear spoiler - restoration on the top half and engine bay - wing mount mirrors and door mirror delete
And then it'll be done LOL

What happened with this? Anyone know? I know Dom from other forums, he is a pretty prolific forums member across t'internet so it is unusual for him to just disappear like this.

Hey Barny, yea, I've still got Marvin, and 3 other projects too. I've just not had a chance to be on the forums as much recently as I've been busy with one project or another. Got the Aerodeck, a 1980 Fox Body Mustang, the Diversion 900 trike, and a Virago 750 trike project I've just started on too!!!!!
How have you been mate?

A late reply! Been busy myself with work. Have still got the Civic project, which is very nearly done!!!! Also have a Eunos roadster and Alfa GTV projects!!! I think one of the latter two will have to go to fund the final bits of the civic work, but hey ho.
